Using Wildblue.vbs FAP Script -- What happened?
5/4/2009 20:00,5938,506
5/4/2009 21:00,5939,507 5/4/2009 22:00,5939,507 5/4/2009 23:00,5939,507 5/5/2009 00:00,0,0 5/5/2009 01:00,0,0 5/5/2009 02:00,0,0 5/5/2009 03:00,0,0 5/5/2009 04:00,0,0 5/5/2009 05:00,0,0 5/5/2009 06:00,0,0 5/5/2009 07:00,0,0 5/5/2009 08:00,0,0 5/5/2009 09:00,0,0 5/5/2009 10:00,0,0 5/5/2009 11:00,0,0 5/5/2009 14:08,0,0 The last reading was manual because I just got done doing a big old boot time Check Disk. I think it is not coincidence that it stopped working at midnight here, but I don't know. I know back a little over a month ago Fapzilla stopped working for many. I also discovered today that the Google WB FAP gadget doesn't work any more. I also know that the new usage tool that they have doesn't give hard numbers. I agree with a poster on a previous thread that WB doesn't want it to be easy for us to check our usage. To use the new page https://myusage.wildblue.net/UsageGUI you have to log in each and every time you want to check. What a pain.

the same thing happened here in SW Virginia. Everything has gone along quite well until I went online this morning and have gotten nothing but zeros...
5/4/2009 23:00,11644,326 5/4/2009 23:18,11687,328 5/4/2009 23:22,11687,328 5/5/2009 09:02,0,0 5/5/2009 09:03,0,0 5/5/2009 09:04,0,0 5/5/2009 09:07,0,0 5/5/2009 09:08,0,0 5/5/2009 09:12,0,0 5/5/2009 09:46,0,0 5/5/2009 10:25,0,0 5/5/2009 10:33,0,0 5/5/2009 10:55,0,0 5/5/2009 10:55,0,0 5/5/2009 11:05,0,0 5/5/2009 11:07,0,0 5/5/2009 11:34,0,0 5/5/2009 11:41,0,0 5/5/2009 12:08,0,0 5/5/2009 12:12,0,0 5/5/2009 14:51,0,0 5/5/2009 19:36,0,0 I have not had this before, but understand others have. I also note that the usage gauge on the dishmail site (I have my account with Dish) is showing an expected increase in percent usage based on my own numbers for some downloading I did today. When I try to manually access my usage using the link that has been posted here previously, I get the following now.... <content unauthorizedAccess="true"> <package/> <downloadlimit high="0" low="0">0</downloadlimit> <uploadlimit high="0" low="0">0</uploadlimit> <downloadused>0</downloadused> <uploadused>0</uploadused> </content> That is for the following link..... http://myaccount.dishmail.net/wbisp/..._xml.jsp?u=(my user name inserted here)

I agree about the frustration. I have the advantage of having access to another means of downloading things when I go to work (4 nights a week), but here where I live it's either Wildblue or Hughes..... and at least I learned early on to keep my own daily records (although i note that the usage meter I use does not always jive with what WB's usage showed when I am able to access the info from them.) Since they have to have some means of continuing to measure the actual numbers, i am hoping someone with more advanced IT knowledge than I might once again figure out another work-around.

Well, this is not good. I relied on those numbers to make sure no one was bouncing stuff off my modem (whch seemed to happen occasionally after using IRC) and to make sure I wasn't hit with phantom usage spikes. A few of those in a row could easily put a person over limit.
My last non-zero return was at 1 AM Central. That's about the time the phantom usage spikes hit if they're going to, although I haven't seen one in quite some time. Hook
